Coke Explosion!

We all sat around a coke bottle wondering what would happen.  Ben felt nervous because he thought it might splash on him.   Brenden was excited because he thought it would make a mess.  Then at morning tea he could slide through the spilt coke on the ground.   When it was time to do the experiment Adam unscrewed the lid.  Then Adam dropped in a blue mint (the mint was green inside because Brodie saw a cracked one).  We all stayed close to the coke bottle.  We had to move quickly away from the bottle before it splashed all over us- Adam got splashed!  But no one else did.

  1. Gee - great to see you writing a blog when I'm not there - you are taking this on yourselves ! Fantastic !!

Just a couple of questions that weren't clear to me when I read this, can you elaborate a little more please. What was it at morning tea that "he could slide through it" ? I'm not sure what you mean here.
also at the beginning, I wasn't sure what you were wondering about with the coke bottle - only as I read more did I get that you were going to drop a mint into the bottle - but until near the end, I wasn't sure about this. Can you edit it to make it a little clearer please. Thanks. Remember writing is to help make clear pictures in the readers head.
I bet you made lots of noise too when it splashed all over Adam !

  2. Thanks that bit you added makes more sense now, about sliding through the coke that was spilt on the ground.
You are doing well. Love the photo you have added too.

  3. Kia Ora,
Your experiment sounded like a lot of fun! It's almost like and explosion of a coke volcano. Were any of you worried? And why did you chose to do such an outstanding topic? I noticed your fish in the navigation bar, where did you get it?
    Kind Regards,
    Ella

  4. The fish is just a gadget you can get when you go into the display page of blogspot, just easy to add.
